The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales has a leading national role in developing and promoting understanding of the archaeological, built and maritime heritage of Wales, as the originator, curator and supplier of authoritative information for individual, corporate and governmental decision makers, researchers, and the general public.
Llanelli Historical Society
The aim of the society is to research and promote the history of Llanelli through its membership. The society was founded in 1999 and held it's first public meeting in 2000. It is a non profit making organisation and all information on this site is offered free of charge.

The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) is a voluntary organisation set up in 1994 to restore a visual watch along UK shores after many small Coastguard stations closed due to Government cutbacks.
National Monuments Record of Wales
Coflein is the online database for the National Monuments Record of Wales (NMRW), the national collection of information about the historic environment of Wales. The name is derived from the Welsh cof (memory) and lein (line).Coflein allows access to details of many thousands of archaeological sites, monuments, buildings and maritime sites in Wales, together with an index to the drawings, manuscripts and photographs held in the NMRW archive collections.
CAVS (Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services) provide advice, information and support to the voluntary sector in Carmarthenshire, and offer membership to groups wishing to join the association.
Llanelli Community Heritage
Launched on St Davids Day 2004, the main aim of Llanelli Community Heritage is to consolidate the work of local historians in preserving historic buildings and structures and promoting the community's rich heritage.
